About Crono

Hello Freexers!  

Today, we are very excited to present our second creation. Freexed Crono is a single speed Tracklocross bike, with a Flip Flop rear hub. It has a lightweight and durable aluminum frame with vintage style steel forks. Perfect for daily chores in the city or for going to work, but if we suddenly want to take a detour on a dirt road, we can, and it will be fun! you will always have the right wheels for every type of surface..

The design of the Freexed Crono is timeless, it has comfortable handling suitable for urban cycling, but we have improved it by making space for wider tires, it is a cross between a racing bike and a gravel bike.

You have a choice of 2 sizes, 3 colors and 3 different handlebar styles, the rims are a 40mm high profile, with 700X38c tires.

Freexed Crono mounts high quality components and a Flip Flop rear hub.

We deliver it with both brakes already mounted. Pedals and Straps are included.

The ratio 44/20 (free) and 44/18 (fixed), allows for easy and light pedaling with snappy restarts. Crono bikes have a predisposition for the addition of two water bottles (seat tube and down tube) and the mounting points for a front rack.

Take it with you on local trails, to the sea, to the mountains, to the lake, use it to go to work, take it on the subway, Freexed Crono will take care of everything!

LIGHT FRAME

Freexed CRONO is the urban tracklocross bike as we imagine it. We have designed the best possible chassis to be able to fully express the potential both off road and in the city. 

Classic geometry in a lightweight frame made of 6061 aluminum with excellent overall rigidity, although the 55 size bike weighs only 10 Kg. We have allowed space for larger wheels and fitted 700X38c gravel tires. The frame has soft and very high quality welds, designed for a unique metropolitan travel experience, without excluding the opportunity of sudden off-piste on dirt or gravel. Your riding experience will be softened by a comfortable and light ride thanks to the 44/20 (free) and 44/18 (fixed) ratio.

FLIP FLOP HUB

Freexed Crono mounts a Flip Flop rear hub. It allows a double gait, that is, to drive the bike with both fixed gear and freewheel. Our bikes are delivered in fixed gear mode. The transition from “fixed gear” mode to “free wheel” mode and vice versa must be done by removing the wheel and inverting it. (demonstration video).

BRAKES AND PEDALS WITH STRAPS

Freexed Crono is delivered with both brakes pre-mounted.

You are free to choose how to brake! If you choose the fixed riding mode, you can eventually use only the front brake, or if you feel safe and you are an expert on fixie bikes, you could choose to remove both brakes and give in to the temptation of skid-stop braking!

NUMBERED FRAMES

Under the bottom bracket for all freexed bikes, you can find the serial number engraved, which makes any  bike unique. Keep a note of the number so in the case of theft you can report the incident and prove ownership of your bike.

ASSEMBLY

Freexed Crono will be delivered to your home, 85% pre-assembled, in protective packaging.

You only have to mount the front wheel, pedals, handlebars and the seat.

Our bikes are set in fixed gear mode with complex components and both brakes already assembled.

If you are not an expert, we recommend taking the bike to a trusted workshop to have the assembly completed by a competent mechanic.

ASSEMBLY TIME 20 MINUTES

Included with the bike are basic tools to finish the assembly of the bike.

Before riding your new bike it may need some lubrication of the moving parts and checking the tightness of the nuts or bolts.

If you are not an expert, we recommend taking the bike to a workshop and have the assembly completed by a specialized mechanic.

We are not responsible for any damage due to inexperience or incorrect installation.

Suggestion sizes:

  • The Medium 54 frame for a stature between 170 cm – 183 cm
  • The Large 57 frame for a stature between 180 cm – 193 cm

Please measure the inside leg length starting from the soles’s feet (without shoes) up to the crotch.

Inside leg measurement adult’s height  varies from approx. 65 cm. to approx. 95 cm, depending on height and gender.
